After a fun General Conference weekend, we decided to have a FHE lesson about the things President Monson asked us to do. Ryrie took notes for us on the whiteboard and we posted it on the fridge to help us remember. I love Ryrie's cheerful writing, it's just like his personality. Which, to tie in with the title of the blog, is very similar to his cheerful Dad's.

Chip off the Ole' Block
2 weeks ago the boys and I and our aunt spent a magical day in the mountains. The weather was warm, the leaves were glorious, and the boys spent the day being boys--getting dirty and playing with sticks, rocks, and water. On the playground, Ryrie ran right into a bar that for some reason was at face level. He chipped his front tooth! We've since taken him into the dentist 2 times to get it repaired, and it just chips right off again very easily. The last time it fell out was while he was sleeping! So, we are giving up on the dentist for the time being. Maybe we will just call him "Chip" from now on. It makes his smile even more unique, doesn't it?
