Beautiful October: From Fall to Winter

We had an absolutely beautiful October:

Georgie entertained with sorting buttons in my muffin tin

Thanksgiving in Edmonton with the cousins:  playing one of Grandma's games together

Heading to the hockey game

1st official Street Hockey Turkey Game--played across the street from Grandma's house.  It was a lot of fun for all who participated--we have some real talent in the Spencer family!

Georgie played a bit but mostly enjoyed "hanging" with cousin Emma

Chillin' with Campbell during the next event: Newly-invented 2 Base-Kickball

A good lookin' bunch of Spencers

The weekend was just beautiful in Edmonton--the trees were so brilliant and the leaves were fun to play in.

The Brothers Three

Back in Lethbridge--going on yet another walk in the river bottoms

Some friends of ours had a Pumpkin Patch that we enjoyed for an evening

Tommy on the hayride at the pumpkin patch

Georgie and I had a few outings to the lake by the elementary school.  He loves throwing rocks over the bridge and watching them sink to the bottom

We invited our friends to experience the beauties of the Marshlands

Right before Halloween we got dumped on with wonderful wet snow.  The boys rolled up almost every bit of it in the backyard for their creations--big snow caterpillars.

Here's Owen's

Recognize these costumes?  Love the dress-up box.  Tommy was a death-eater, Owen was Harry Potter (he grew his hair out on purpose to better fit the role), and Georgie ended up choosing to be "A Inja Turtle" even though he was originally planning to be a cowboy.

George loved watching the kids' Halloween parade at the school.  He wasn't scared of the scarey-looking costumes and laughed instead.

Our scarey Jack-O-Lanterns

Teamwork Pumpkin

This is a Scarey Pumpkin!

This is a Scared Pumpkin--doesn't he look terrified?

The one-eyed ogre pumpkin.
