William and Ryrie are 14 Years of Age

Our boys have reached the grand old age of 14!  They are now moving into manhood.  It is super hard to believe that they are the same age as Joseph Smith was when he had his amazing vision.
I had a semi-emotional day on October 22nd as I pondered their miraculous births and lives so far.  James and I are so grateful for the many miracles we have seen over the past 14 years with them.
I think emotions are a little close to the surface partly because William has had a recent injury--a fracture to his femur--and it brings the memories back pretty quickly.  Also, we decided the boys had matured to the point where we can show them the emails their Nana typed up to describe what they were going through so that loved ones far away could add their prayers on specific issues.  We know that made a difference, and we want them to know it too.

James took the boys to an Oilers game and bought them some Oilers gear.  They were pumped, and because of Will's injury they got to go down to where the players come out on the ice.

Halloween costumes for YM--we decided to add to the existing injury for Will and Ry borrowed a costume.

Ouch!

William has been so patient with his injury.  He is getting strong arms and his other leg is so strong too.  He is a good sport and received many calls, emails, and texts to boost his spirits.

  1. What sweet boys these are! I love Will's costume :) Just thinking about the time 14 years ago really makes me feel emotional too in a big way! Miraculous blessings!
