George has been waiting for his birthday for months now, ever since our Birthday Season began in mid-October! He was thrilled for his big day--which actually turned into days. James' birthday was on a Friday, and then we decided to celebrate Georgie's the next day although it technically wasn't. He wanted to go swimming as a family and have hot dogs and potato chips and pop and cake (yikes!).

| Georgie got birthday cards from his grandparents and great grandparents! He is so loved. |

| Here's the train cake we came up with--the colours from my new food colour kit are kind of girly, but he didn't really notice. The caboose is supposed to be red, but it is really quite pink. He didn't care at all though! |

We got George paints, window crayons, and new markers for his birthday, along with this Spuzzle and a barrel of monkeys. He was happy!
A few days after the official day, he and I invited some moms and kids over for a swim and snacks at our house while the older kids were at school. It was fun for him to have friends over, and even though I told everyone not to bring a present they all did, so he was thoroughly delighted. :-)
We surely do love our bright little 4 year old and love the things he says and does. I wish we could capture him at this stage forever. He is so loving and sweet and even when he's in a rotten mood, he is still so cuddly and dear. We can't imagine our home and family without him! |
You've done it again with the cake, Rach!
