Happy Birthday Georgie!

Georgie is one year old! He has had a really happy, healthy first year of life, for which we are all really grateful.
Owen asks every day why George is not walking yet. I guess he figured you couldn't be one without walking also!
Here are some things he is doing right now:
crawling all over, turning around to scoot down stairs (yay!), walking along furniture and sometimes pushing it if it happens to move, standing unassisted for short amounts of time, growing teeth, dancing, babbling, signing,(his versions of "more," "cold," "down," "out," and "drink"--they're all still a bit rough and generic)and making friends everywhere he goes (he is very cuddly and smiley and likes to put his head on your shoulder and get "petted").

I love his auburn hair and his brown eyes. They are a magical combination to melt your heart. His little nose has been permanently pink for a week or so, which is very cute and makes him look kind of like a little bunny.



We had a little party for him on his big night, but he was very cranky for it, unfortunately. However, he did pause from his crying long enough to be excited about the sparkler on his cake and eating the "cold" cake. He even got the spoon to his mouth on his own! We had a little family dance after and let him be "nakey" but he was pretty miserable during it. He's feeling better and getting some rest, so he's almost back to his happy little self again. Georgie, we love you and congratulate you on a great first year of life! You are officially on your way to being 2!
