Sugar High!

We have had a really crazy and fun Halloween this year. The boys dressed up for different events about 5 times, we celebrated their birthdays at a Halloween party, and they of course have consumed LOTS of candy. Here are some of the highlights of the season, starting with our Jack O' Lanterns:

Costumes: Yes, I am the pumpkin and no, I added no extra padding. James took the boys trick or treating and I stayed home and handed out candy to a very few trick or treaters. The boys had a wonderful time and got LOTS of LOOT!

  1. You look adorable in that pumpkin. :) And I especially love your little zebra, too. I'm always impressed by the fun moms/dads that dress up with their kids for trick-or-treating.

Having babies is hard on the body, hmm? I know I gained a lot of weight with Daisy---I don't know HOW much thankfully, since my midwife didn't believe in weigh-ins. But sheesh. STILL, none of my clothing fits me. I hate it. Allison (sister-in-law) said something about how all her baby weight had just come off "without her really doing anything" and I was wishing that happened to me, too. Maybe it did more with the first, I can't remember that far back. But anyway, you look great, and at least you have a good excuse for filling out that pumpkin (I could fill it out on my own right now, I think) :)

WV: favishis. Reminds me of Miss Havisham. Pip, old chap!

  2. What a cute trick-or-treating crew! I would've given those boys a loot too. Hope you are feeling well enough to have your house overtaken in a little less than two weeks--We can't wait!!

  3. The pic of the candy sorted out on the couch is so great! I remember James and I returning home from trick or treating and placing a towel each on the living room floor. We would dump the contents of our pillow cases on the towel and sort our loot into piles. Do the boys ever hollar "Halloween Apples!" at the door? Wade's family hadn't ever heard of that.
