Yesterday I heard all these words from Tommy. I think he is sending me mixed messages, and I'm trying to keep an even keel through it all--can't let myself sink too high or low as I ride the waves of whatever emotion he may be experiencing at the moment!
"I like when you put your arm around me." (while we were reading together)
"This is the best day ever!"
"This was the worst swimming day ever!"
"You're the meanest mom ever!"
"You're the best mom ever!"
"You never play with me." (After 1 hour focused play)
"Rargh!" (Angry yell)
"I love you."
Go figure.
