April Begins

On April Fool's Day, Ryrie set the table. He was a bit grouchy after our piano practice session together, and James decided to get him out of his funk by suggesting that he set the table funny. They gathered a collection of pots, large bowls,and serving spoons and Ryrie had a great time setting the table. It cheered him up!





During the boys' silly play, they have a couple of names that they like to call each other. "Gramma Tildy," "Bobby Crunchies," "Sally Pockets," and "Johnny Nimble," to name a few. I do not know why they find these names so interesting, but they do. The other day Owen was "Johnny Nimble" (I guess this is what J.N. looked like that day):



The last few years we have decided to give the boys Conference Baskets instead of Easter baskets for a couple of reasons--mostly to get them excited and keep them quiet during General Conference and to keep the Easter focus on Christ rather than the bunny--and so far it seems to be working. At least, they were really excited for Conference this year!
